The 30th Annual National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championship is in the books for the STL Blue Knights!
Some families have several kids on several teams. Some players had up to 4 games in one day. The venues were in and around Springfield, and many times, parents were hustling to get players from one venue to another, often 30 minutes or more away. Some coaches coach more than one team, and their games overlapped. The cheerleaders and their coaches cheered at 3 games each day, all at different locations, from early until late. There were 362 teams competing this year. Here's an official SHOUT OUT to all the players, cheerleaders, parents, tagalong siblings, coaches and organizers who make this exciting week possible for homeschool kids from across the country!

Our players went up against some really tough competition! There were exciting victories and the acquisition of a coveted gold ball; there was a last-second-of-the-game 3-pointer (OWEN WATSON!); and there were disappointing injuries, bad calls and unsportsmanlike opponents; there was a final game for Blue Knights seniors Noah, Cameron, Liv & Lauren; there was a final game to cheer for senior Nicole Higgins. Through it all, we are extremely proud of our players, cheerleaders, coaches and parents for displaying Christ-like character through all the highs and the lows.
