Basketball Evaluations & Season Participation

We are excited for a brand new season of Blue Knights basketball and cheer! Please read carefully, and plan accordingly. It's going to be a great season! We hope you'll consider joining the dedicated volunteers who make the Blue Knights organization so special.

The Blue Knights offer competitive and developmental basketball teams for most age groups of homeschool boys and girls. Evaluations / tryouts will help with placing players on teams for the season. Competitive teams begin practices September 30, with games beginning November 7. Developmental teams begin practices in November, with games beginning in December / January. SEASON KICK OFF MEETINGS

BASKETBALL
Who: All players and parents participating in basketball this season
When: Monday, September 30 from 7-8 pm
Where: Liberty Church

CHEER
Who: All cheerleaders and parents
When: Monday, September 30 (during cheer practice)

REGISTRATION
For all students playing basketball or cheering with the Blue Knights for the 2024-25 season, TWO REGISTRATIONS ARE REQUIRED: Evaluations/Tryouts and Season Participation.

1st: Register for EVALUATIONS/TRYOUTS
Who: All basketball players ages 11-18 (boys/girls) as of Aug 1, 2024
***Evaluations are not required for ages 9-10 as of Aug 1, 2024
All cheerleaders (girls ages 12-18 as of Aug 1, 2024)
Cost: FREE
When: See EVALUATIONS/TRYOUTS SCHEDULE below

What to know: Players are required to attend the age group listed below unless invited by a coach to attend an older age group. Players should bring a basketball, a blue shirt and a white shirt to evaluations/tryouts.

2nd: Register for SEASON PARTICIPATION
Who: ALL basketball players and cheerleaders
Cost:Varies
When: September 30 - October 10
***Late registration: October 11-24 for teams with spots still available
A $25 late fee will apply for late registration.
