COVID-19 Guidelines
We are living in unprecedented times. In effort to lessen the risks of COVID-19 we have been working with host gyms to implement the following guidelines for players, coaches, administrators and spectators attending State.

1. Team COVID-19 Screening Form: Teams must submit a daily report stating that each player, coach, administrator are symptom free prior to entering the gym. Symptoms include a fever of more than 100.4, new or worsening cough, new loss of smell and/or taste, sore throat different than normal allergies, shortness of breath, vomiting or diarrhea.

2. Signs will be posted that if any attendee has any of the following symptoms must not enter the gym: Symptoms include a fever of more than 100.4, new or worsening cough, new loss of smell and/or taste, sore throat different than normal allergies, shortness of breath, vomiting or diarrhea.

3.  Separate entrances and exits to the gym and each court. All in attendance MUST ALWAYS enter through the entrance, exit through the exits and follow directional arrows on the floor.

4.  GameTime Sports requires the use of masks for spectators.

5.  Individual COVID-19 Liability Waiver: All in attendance are required to complete a COVID-19 waiver prior to entering the gym.

6. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs to maximize social distancing and minimizing multiple people using the same chair/bleacher throughout the day.  Each court will have seating available along 1 sideline and both baselines. Bleachers are available along the baselines.  Spectators are to sit in the 1st and last row only of the bleachers.

7. Teams are encouraged to meet outdoors prior to and immediately following their games sending 1 representative into the gym to monitor the clock of the game before their game. Teams should not enter the gym more than 15 minutes before their game begins. Spectators and teams are asked to leave the gym as soon as their game is finished.

8. To reduce congestion in the lobby and the exchange of cash we are asking everyone to purchase their tickets here. After tickets have been purchased online simply print the ticket and bring it with you to State or present it on your phone. Tickets will be available to purchase in the lobby using exact change, but greatly encourage everyone to purchase tickets online to minimize lobby congestion and streamline entrance to the building. As always players, coaches and children under age 5 do not need to purchase admission tickets.

Game structure:
Teams will have 5 minutes to warm up before their game and 5 minutes for half-time.

All games may start up to 10 minutes early (except the 1st game of the day). This has allowed us to run the entire tournament on time or ahead of schedule in years past. If the previous game on your court ends early you will have 5 minutes to warm up, then your game will start early. We will not start a game more than 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time.

Game clock:
14U games 6 min. quarters
16U games 7 min quarters
18U games 8 min quarters

If a team is winning by 20 points or more in the 2nd half it will be a running clock. If the lead drops below 20 points it will return to a normal clock.

Home team is listed on top of the bracket (or first on the schedule), wears white, provides the game ball and keeps the official book.
Visiting team is listed on bottom of the bracket (or second on the schedule), wears dark uniforms and runs the clock.

After the game one person from each team will text in the court #, scheduled game time, division and score details to (636) 244-8763
EXAMPLE: GT-2 12:40 14UB Cardinals 50 Royals 44
